WHAT IS AN E-BIKE?

An electric bike is an ideal tool for visiting places that are inaccessible by car or too far away to hike on foot. In addition, an electric bike harmonizes the movement of a group and enthusiasts of all skill and fitness levels can participate. Riding an electric bike does not differ significantly from riding a conventional bike in terms of the skills required. Brakes, gears and pedaling work the same way. All that is added is the choice of the electric motor operating mode and the rest is done by the smart motor control system. Since it is a “pedal assist” style bike, the electric motor only supports the rider when pedaling. The power is used proportionally to the pedaling – the harder you pedal, the more the motor helps you. Motor power is 250W, which means that when riding our electric bike, you are at least as strong as a professional cyclist. Considering that the short-term power of the motor is greater than 250W, in some situations you are even stronger than a professional cyclist. Battery life depends on many factors – rider weight, operating mode, speed, temperature, tire pressure and track difficulty. Our tests show that the distances covered by a rider weighing 100kg (135kg with bike and equipment) are as follows, depending on the operating mode selected:

ECO – 50km
TRAIL – 40 km
BOOST – 30km

While riding, operating modes can be changed at any time as needed, and the distances covered will increase with an economical driving style.

WHAT E-BIKES DO WE USE?

CANYON Neuron:ON 8 (2021)

We use electric bikes from the German bike manufacturer CANYON. High-quality and modern bikes ensure maximum riding pleasure. The electric motor and battery support the rider’s pedaling at speeds of up to 25 km/h.

Limitations: Maximum rider weight with equipment 110kg.

Bike size selection: In order to get the best cycling experience, the bike frame size should be in proportion to the rider. The following describes the wheel size selection depending on the rider’s height and the available quantity:
